Learn more about the exhibit and our program after the jump.

WHAT:
LearnToLive Exhibit Night, devised by Yanti Turang, Sergio Padilla and Jason Prowell has come about as a result of the August 2011 research expedition to North Sulawesi Indonesia. The purpose of the expedition was to scout locations and establish foundations for, Learn to Live, a three-week traveling healthcare program.

The LearnToLive exhibit consists of three mediums, photography, film and an interactive installation. The exhibition follows the research team as they travel through North Sulawesi, Indonesia, exploring the need for their proposed healthcare program. There will be a silent auction of the photographs to help raise funds for our upcoming trip.

WHO:
Jason Prowell a New Orleans based photographer with the direction of founder Yanti Turang and project manager Sergio Padilla collaborates with, New Orleans filmmaker, Renso Amariz to bring you this exhibition.

WHY:
The Learn to Live Exhibit explores the beautiful and remote nature of North Sulawesi, Indonesia through the stunning photography of Jason Prowell. The Learn to Live team will also share their plans for the upcoming trip in July of 2012 and how you can be involved.

And just as crucially, it’s a brilliant night out – Free Indonesian food, beers, visual treats and a chance to connect with people in our community who want to make a difference in the world.
